Spring 2012 Important dates:
Saturday extra rehearsals:
Saturday February 11, 10am – 1pm
Saturday March 3, 10am – 3pm
at 1444 Avenue Union, second floor (our usual location)
Dress rehearsals:
Wednesday March 16
Friday November 18
Small group at 6pm, and big group at 7-10pm
at L’Église St-Enfant Jésus, 5037-5039 rue St-Dominique (corner of St-Joseph).
*Please note that you do NOT need to be in your concert attire for the dress rehearsals.
The Concert:
Sunday April 1
at L’Église St-Enfant Jésus, 5037-5039 rue St-Dominique (corner of St-Joseph).
The choir must be on stage, ready for warm-up at 1:00 pm. The concert will start at 3:00 pm.
It is recommended that family and friends get to the church by 2:20 p.m. if they want the best seats. Parking will be available for $5.00 for concert goers only (unfortunately, there is not enough parking space for choir members). Choir members must park on the street or take public transportation.
Concert dress code:
Women (including women in the tenor section): black with sleeves (cover sleeveless or tank tops with a black cardigan/shrug), black trousers or skirt but if skirt preferably a long one. If wearing tights or nylons, black is preferred. Black shoes.
Men: black trousers and white dress shirt (no tie). Black shoes & socks. Please no running shoes unless they look really dressy.
Ticket reservations at the door:
- Reserved tickets MUST be paid for in advance (NO exceptions).
- The last day to request ticket reservations and to pay for them is at the Friday March 30 dress rehearsal (NOT on the concert day).
- When you request tickets to be reserved at the door, you will simply fill out a form, without taking the tickets.
- The reserved tickets will be organized at the door by the exec members in advance, so there is no more need for envelopes!
