4 out of 5 stars Pretty good   February 9, 2007

I have tried about eight different pregnancy workouts, and have found this to be the only one that feels like a real WORKOUT. So many of them are nice and relaxing and teach you about breathing, kegels, etc., but the exercises are incredibly easy. This one got my heart-rate up a bit, and left me sore the next day (in a good way). It's great for someone who already has an established exercise routine. Erin O'Brien is a wee bit annoying, but what I like is that she's doing the workout in her own living room, using the couch, coffee table, and wall as props, and she works you hard. She combines a few aspects of pilates and yoga with her cardio and strength exercises and leaves you feeling like you did something good for your body.

5 out of 5 stars Great Video!   July 4, 2008

I bought this video and Leisa Hart's Fitmama at the same time. This one is far better if you had an established exercise regime before you became pregnant. It's a good workout! I would keep doing it even if I wasn't pregnant but couldn't go to the gym. You certainly feel like you are doing something with this video, whereas with Fitmama it seems like a warm up or cool down video. I strongly recommend you get it IF you were an avid exerciser before.

When I hit my third trimester it was hard sometimes then I only did 25 minutes of the 40 minute workout. The ground work portion gave me incredible heartburn so I usually stopped before that and went for a walk.

The partner exercise is ok to try once and I did get a great workout but I didn't feel it was necessary.

5 out of 5 stars She made me feel so much better! Great workout too!   May 31, 2009

Well in much need of a pick me up (pregnancy hormones are raging) and with some time on my hands today, I decided to get my butt moving and so popped in this video for the first time.

This was the absolute best workout video I have tried since Sharon Mann's workout series that I used for years pre-pregnancy.

For anyone who does videos or aerobic classes already and is pregnant, I recommend trying it.

A) She is very Sarah Jessica Parkerish and I find that charming and it made me smile.

B) It has good cardio in it, which is hard to find for prenatal stuff. And she doesn't use any equipment except your couch, chair and floor.

c) She has a good segment of squats which good to do in preparation for birth.

I found her advice and constant reminders helpful and not too annoying. I will be using this video alot for the rest of my pregnancy.

4 out of 5 stars Exactly what I was looking for   July 23, 2010

I am 30 weeks pregnant and before I was pregnant I exerciced 3-4 times a week. I was looking for a prenatal video to help me keep fit during the last strech of my pregnancy. I really enjoy this video. It gives a very good workout (considering I am 30 weeks pregnant!) and the instructions given by the instructors are easy to follow.

5 out of 5 stars Pleasantly surprised   October 21, 2009

I am a kinesiologist and ex-national athlete, this is my fourth pregnancy. I was looking for a really good and fun video. This one fits the bill.
I have bought many videos and quite honestly can't stand some of the content and ways they motivate. Erin is different. Her approach was exactly what I have been looking for.
